Is it Macadamia, rhymes with academia, because we meet at the college?

Or is it Macadamia, as in the nut, because we're nuts for Macintosh computers?

We're not telling! Come to our next meeting and decide for yourself.

Macadamia is the McHenry County region Apple Computer user group. Our purpose is to help Macintosh computer owners learn how to use and maintain their computers.  Club programs vary widely, including informal question and answer sessions, demonstrations of Mac software, hands on seminars on how to repair and update your computer, even field trips to learn how Macs are being used in creating professional artwork and video. We meet once a month on the third Saturday at McHenry County College. Meetings start at 9:30 a.m. and usually last about 2.5 hours.

All Mac users from Beginner to Mac Genius are welcome.

People who are not yet Mac users but would like to learn about Macs are especially welcome.

Windows users are welcome too. Come see what Apple has today
and learn what Microsoft will be selling tomorrow! ;-)

Interested? Drop us an e-mail and find out what room at the College we will be meeting in. (Due to scheduling requirements of other classes and organizations at the college we sometimes meet in different rooms from month to month.)

Next meeting: Saturday, February 18, 2012, 9:30 a.m. at McHenry County College in Building A,  room A242.

We now have a locker for our computer lending library.... if you have any computer or photography book you would like to give or lend to Macadamia... bring it to a meeting..
